Free and Discounted Books!

What am I reading now? Unmaking Hunter Kennedy (Anne Eliot)

Annnd . . . what do I think so far? I have to admit right off that I was thinking about abandoning this book after the first two chapters. I'm glad I didn't! They seemed so disconnected. In fact, I even went back to Amazon and checked the rating--yup it's high. I decided to push on and fell in love with the characters. It's a coming of age story, but in reverse. Finding out you don't have to race ahead.

Free and Discounted Books!
I love to read and give myself a generous monthly budget, but it's not enough (it's never enough really!) So to feed my habit, I've enrolled in sites that will give me free books or deeply discounted books. Here are my three favorite sites, listed in my order of love.

Click on the icons to go to the sites. The first two will send you daily emails to peruse based on your personal preferences. The last one has an online bank of books to look through.

Dream Library

Right now I have this:

And all the shelves are double bunked. So if I need to find something, I have to pull books out from in front and look behind.

My dream library could look like this...or this...or this!
P.S. I want a ladder that I can pull around
and climb to the top shelves too.
