Strawberry Sundae Pie

What am I reading now?  The Heir (Kiera Cass)

Annnd . . . what do I think so far?  I've really enjoyed this series. I was a little surprised that the series would continue with the children's story.

The blurb:
Kiera Cass's #1 New York Times bestselling Selection series has enchanted readers from the very first page. In this fourth romantic novel, follow IllĂ©a's royal family into a whole new Selection—and find out what happens after happily ever after.

Eadlyn doesn't expect her Selection to be anything like her parents' fairy-tale love story...but as the competition begins, she may discover that finding her own happily ever after isn't as impossible as she's always thought.

Raised Garden Beds

What am I reading now?  Paper Towns (John Green)

Annnd . . . what do I think so far?  Sometimes I read a book because I like the surprises in the plot. Other times I read to hang out with the characters. And sometimes the language draws me to continue turning the pages. For me, this last reason is the one that got me to finish reading Paper Towns. Though I admit I would have abandoned it otherwise.

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they're for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew.

The thing about reading a series...

What am I reading now?  Perfect Scoundrels (Ally Carter)

Annnd . . . what do I think so far?  I read the first two in this series right when they came out then lost track of looking for this one. I'm so glad I saw it when one of my Goodreads friends reported putting it on her "To Read" list. I love this series and this author's storytelling style. The book was wonderful! The perfect end to the series. If you haven't started this series--start now. Then read her other series, Gallagher Girls.
Here's the blurb:
Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the son of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it's that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting-or stealing-whatever they want. No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale's family, all bets are off when money is on the line.
When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother's billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there's no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won't let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother's will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company's fortune. Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she's willing to save her boyfriend's company if it means losing the boy.

The thing about reading a series...

I'm definitely at sadness today. I have hope though--there is a book 4 listed on the series page.
So maybe...
