Romance is in the Air

What am I reading now? Ruined by a Rake (Erin Knightley)

Annnd. . . what do I think so far? LOVE IT! This is fast becoming a go-to author for me. The romances are swoon-worthy. Although the covers look a little racy, the romances are clean. The situations for each couple are twisty and fun. And BONUS--this author has a lot of books out so when you finish one (and love it) you can find another great story to read next! Several of her books are books I can definitely re-read.

It started with a kiss.

When nine-year-old Eleanor Abbington first met her uncle’s new stepson, Nicolas Norton, the boy rudely stole a kiss from her that set the tone for their contentious and competitive relationship.

When Nick unexpectedly arrives on their doorstep after a two year absence, Eleanor is in no mood for their normal banter. Seeming to know exactly what she needs, Nick challenges her to pick up the foil once more. During their pre-dawn matches, he shows her just how strong she can be . . . and exactly how much he’s changed since leaving. But when her old adversary becomes her only ally, she may very well find herself . . . Ruined by a Rake.

I know she's not new, but you can never go wrong with a Julia Quinn book!

Oooh, options! :) I really like Danielle Bourdon's books. Royalty in a romance novel makes me so happy! (email's in blogger profile)

Omg waaay to many options but top favs would prolly be Christine Feehan, Lyndsay Sands (both paranormal) and Nora Roberts, although I recently rrad "Look Again" by Lisa Scottline and even though suspense/thrillers arent my normal genre was a tearjerker for sure and not scary in the sense of bad guys out to get you (def not my cup of tea lol)

I really like marjorie m liu and stephanie laurents. Not new, but among my favorites. As for a book: City of the Sun by Juliana Maio. Takes place in Egypt during World War II. has the feel of Casablanca.

It's hard to choose just one, or even three for that matter. But, I like all of Eloisa James' books. I like all of Julia Quinn's books. And, there is a new author (for me) Susanna Kearsley, that I would recommend. I've enjoyed everything of her's that I've read so far.
